Pablo Ancos specializes in medieval Spanish literature, with emphasis on 13th-century cuaderna vía poetry and issues concerning the interplay of the letter and the voice in the production and communication of medieval literature, the subject of several articles as well as his book Transmisión y recepción primarias de la poesía del «mester de clerecía». He has co-edited with Ivy A. Corfis Two Spanish Masterpieces: A Celebration of the Life and Work of María Rosa Lida de Malkiel and has participated in the electronic transcription and edition of several 16th-century chivalric and historical texts for the Hispanic Seminary of Medieval Studies. He is currently working on an edition of the 13th-century Libro de Apolonio. Pablo teaches courses in Spanish language and literature.
