Each year, the L&S Honors Program solicits student nominations of faculty members and instructional academic staff who have been especially valuable as teachers of Honors courses, as supervisors of Honors theses, or as teachers and mentors of Honors students. The Faculty Honors Committee reviews these nominations and recommends deserving faculty for these awards each spring.
We are very happy to report that Professor Loredanda Comparone has been selected for a 2016 Distinguished Honors Faculty Award. The Award will be presented on Monday, May 9 at 4:30 PM in the Library at Washburn Observatory. For the significant role she has played for Honors students through teaching, mentoring, and sharing her research, we congratulate Professor Comparone.
