Hanna Ballard is an MA student and teaching assistant in the Department of Spanish & Portuguese at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. She graduated from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio in 2024 with degrees in Political Science and Spanish. Her research interests include Golden Age Spanish literature and its representation of women and minority groups, as well as past and current Spanish politics and Spanish regional separatist movements.
