Credentials: Undergraduate Spanish Major
During my time at UW-Madison, I was involved in the Health Professions Society, Student Pre-Health Committee, Badger Volunteers, and Intramural sports. Additionally, I worked as a CNA.
I really enjoyed Spanish 445: Culture and the Environment in the Luso-Hispanic World. The class focused on the interrelationships between the economy, environment, and culture as well as challenged us to propose solutions to problems of the Anthropocene.
One of my favorite memories would have to be storming the court at the Kohl Center after upsetting Purdue on Frank Kaminsky Night!
After graduation, I plan to take a gap year and work in Madison as a phlebotomist. My goal for the future is to become a physician assistant (and hopefully utilize my Spanish major)!
Words of Wisdom
It’s easy to get caught up in doing schoolwork and planning for the future, but don’t forget to focus on the present and enjoy time with the incredible people that will end up being your lifelong friends.
