Carlos Andrés Rojas
Carlos Andrés Rojas is a PhD candidate and Teaching Assistant, studying Spanish Second Language (L2) phonetic and phonological development with a double minor in Portuguese and Second Language Acquisition (SLA). He completed his bachelor’s degree in Modern Languages and Education at Universidad del Quindío in 2008. He moved to Wisconsin from Colombia to teach Spanish in Milwaukee and finished his MA in Spanish Language & Literature from Marquette University in 2015. His areas of interest include L2 Phonetics and Phonology, Teaching L2 Pronunciation, SLA, L2 Curriculum Development, Instructional Techniques in the L2 Classroom, and Portuguese.
