Credentials: Undergraduate Spanish Major
I worked in a kidney transplant research lab on campus and studied abroad in Ecuador and Spain.
My favorite Spanish class was Spanish 320: Phonetics. I felt like my pronunciation improved so much and I really enjoyed learning about the different dialects in the Spanish language.
My favorite college memory is attending football games at Camp Randall. I never missed a home game throughout my college career, and I was so sad that I couldn’t keep that going my Senior year. Of course, I was happy to stay home and keep everyone safe, but I sure do miss cheering for the Badgers in person!
I plan to go on to medical school and become a doctor. I would love to become a surgeon that works in an area in the U.S. with a large population of Spanish-speakers.
Words of Wisdom
I would say work hard, play hard. I think that is a phrase that many UW-Madison students live by. Work hard and focus on school, but don’t forget to have some fun along the way!
