Congratulations to Tyler Sampson on being awarded a Fulbright for the 2026–2027 academic year!
Through this prestigious opportunity, Tyler will be placed in a public school in Mexico where he will teach English while engaging with students and local communities.
This immersive experience will allow him to build meaningful connections and a deeper understanding of Mexican culture at the local level. Upon his return, Tyler plans to focus his research on the Mexican diaspora in the United States, with particular attention to families and their relationships with schools and their broader communities. This work will serve as a strong foundation for Tyler’s future doctoral studies.
