Avery Puskas is a doctoral student in Spanish Linguistics. She graduated from Miami University of Ohio with an MA in Spanish Linguistics and Literature (2022). She also received a BA with a double major in Spanish and French Language and Literature from Miami University (2022). Her research interests include the phonology of Heritage Spanish Speakers, L2 Speakers, and the effects of language contact on phonology.
