The Second Language Acquisition (SLA) Student Organization is happy to invite all UW-Madison graduate students and teaching assistants in language(-related) programs as well as other language educators to a Language Teaching Philosophy Writing Workshop co-led by SLA Steering Committee members Dr. Heather Willis Allen (Dept. Of French & Italian), Dr. Karen Evans-Romaine (Dept. of German, Nordic & Slavic+), and Dr. William Morgan (Dept. of Spanish & Portuguese).
The workshop is intended to guide UW-Madison graduate students and teaching assistants in language(-related) programs as well as other language educators through the process of writing their own language teaching philosophy statement. Whether you are at the very beginning of your language teaching career or have several years of experience, this is a great opportunity to (begin) draft(ing) a valuable document required for most job applications within language education.
Please, register for the event at go.wisc.edu/teaching-philosophy.
