Congratulations to Saylín Álvarez Oquendo on receiving the College of Letters & Science Academic Staff Teaching Excellence Award! L&S honors outstanding instructional academic staff for their excellence in evidence-based and student-centered teaching and undergraduate student mentoring. Award recipients contribute to an inclusive, fair, and equitable environment that fosters engagement and a sense of belonging for both students and colleagues. Saylín was selected from among a field of outstanding nominees and this speaks to her impressive contribution to the educational mission of the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
